Issue: Cust called in about the expansion module attached to their RC phone device. cust said they have a brand new switch the detects after it goes over 5 watts of use the expansion module will turn off.
phone devices are from RC and they are rental.
cust using aruba cx os switch
cust is testing one before he rolls it out.
edu cust that the workaround would be to factory reset the phone and provision it again manually then the 6.4 firmware update will be retained.
and if that happens the presence feature wont work and the expansion module would be of no use.
cust understood..
